Educational Eclectics: Essays in memory of Shlomo (Seymour) Fox

Editors: Shmuel Wygoda and Israel Sorek | Published by Keter/ Mandel Foundation

Edited by Shmuel Vigoda and Yisrael Sorek, this book of essays in memory of Professor Seymour (Shlomo) Fox by graduates of the Mandel Leadership Institute is a living testimony to the relationship between Professor Fox and his students. The first section contains articles and interviews that analyze, each from its own perspective, his contribution to the field of education and express the various ways in which he influenced his students. The articles that follow focus on areas related directly or indirectly to topics in general education and Jewish education, in which his influence is clear, either in the subjects of the articles or in the thought processes reflected in them.

Contributors to the English section include: Erik H. Cohen, Simon Parizhsky, Gil Graff, Howard Deitcher, Marc J. Rosenstein, and Michael Gillis. Contributors to the Hebrew section include Rabbi David Fox, Ami Bouganim, Daniel Marom, Avi Katzman, Ruth Calderon, Avital Darmon, Hanan Alexander and Ari Burstein, Neria Gutel, Ofer Zahavi, Yonathan (Yoni) Mizrachi, Lia Laor, and Shmuel Wygoda.
