The Mandel Leadership Institute trains social and educational leaders from all walks of Israeli society, and leaders in Jewish education from communities outside Israel. The Institute's programs include the Mandel School for Educational Leadership, the Mandel Jerusalem Fellows, and programs for Senior Civil Servants in Israel.

These programs foster in their graduates the ability to develop their own thoughtful visions for education and society, to translate those visions into feasible strategies, and to implement those strategies in educational and governmental institutions, programs and systems.

In our approach to leadership training, practice and theory have an interactive relationship. The programs are designed to instill within Fellows an understanding of theoretical and philosophical bases for practice and the extent to which practice and theory inform and refine each other.
